Warehouse Team Lead – Kitting 2nd Shift

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Team Lead is to lead their team as well as other warehouse employees. The team lead should be able to lead by example and motivate their team members to hit goals. This position is a Monday through Friday role from 10 am until 6 pm.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage daily workload.
  • Motivate team members.
  • Train new team members for the job
  • Continue to coach and assist all team members.
  • Knowledge of daily tasks and responsibilities – for yourself and your team members
  • Enforce procedures and processes.
  • Ensure team members’ accuracy and quality of work.
  • Report any system errors.
  • Take notice of any issues that might be slowing down production and address it.
  • Take notice of supplies or products that seem out of place.
  • Keep a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure that all supplies are well stocked for team and stations. Report any abnormal use of supplies.
  • Monitor inventory usage and manage projections and new product locations.

Nature and Scope:

  • Train with warehouse management
  • Complete leadership training when time permits, and you are scheduled to go.
  • Attend all team lead meetings.
  • Attend team-building events.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Very well spoken
  • Can effectively communicate with management and team members.
  • Great motivational skills.
  • Can train new and seasoned employees on new skills.
  • Extremely observant.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
